Summer Solstice

The radiance of its magnificent glow
branching out in lines from centre
Moves through the cosmic ether
to fill my world with hidden obscurities
Obscurities bound in circular orbs of duplication
as I spin in redundant motion
pulled along this sandy beach of time
In a vertigo of confusion
as the soft murmuring of the ocean's breath
Whispers its obscurities on the waves
waxing and waning upon the shore
Shall I measure time in seconds, minutes, or hours
or count the minute grains of sand
Along this beach of time, as the waves
tick into eternity
